Cookie Policy

This cookie policy describes the small files this store places on your device, what each group does, and how to remove or block them if you would rather not have them.

What a cookie is

A cookie is a short text file a site stores in your browser so that it can recognise the same browser on a later page or a later visit. Some of them expire when you close the tab; others last longer. We also use a small amount of local storage for the same purpose, and this policy covers that too.

Strictly necessary cookies

  • Cart: keeps the contents of your basket between pages so the cart does not empty itself.
  • Checkout session: holds the progress of an order while you are in the checkout.
  • Age gate: an 18+ confirmation, stored with the date and time it was given.
  • Security: helps distinguish a real browser session from automated traffic.

These are required for the store to work and cannot be switched off from the banner. Blocking them in your browser will break the cart and the checkout.

Preference cookies

A preference cookie remembers small choices, such as your cookie decision itself or a dismissed notice, so that you are not asked the same question on every page. They hold no personal details beyond the setting.

Analytics cookies

Analytics tells us which pages get read, where visitors arrive from and which steps of the checkout cause trouble. The data is aggregated and used to decide what to improve. It is not used to build an advertising profile, and we do not allow advertising networks to set their own cookies on this site.

Managing cookies

You can accept or decline non-essential cookies from the banner, and change that decision at any time by clearing the site’s cookies in your browser settings. Every major browser also lets you block cookies entirely or delete them after the fact; the help pages of your browser explain where those controls sit. Blocking everything will affect the cart and the checkout.

Third parties

The payment processor and the shipping carrier set their own cookies on the pages they control, including the payment step and tracking pages. Their handling of that data is governed by their own policies rather than this one.

Contact

There is one address for all of it: order questions, specification details, returns and privacy requests. Write to [email protected], or ring +1 212 555 0142 during business hours. Having the order number to hand makes any purchase question quicker to answer.
